Etymology
[edit]From Proto-Mordvinic *roŋgə, likely from Proto-Finno-Permic [Finno-Volgaic] *ruŋka. Related to Moksha ронга (ronga), Finnish runko (“trunk”), Karelian runko, rungu (“body”).
