Pronunciation
[edit]Verb
[edit]жада́ць • (žadácʹ) impf (perfective пажада́ць)
- to crave (to desire strongly)
- Synonym: пра́гнуць (práhnucʹ)
- to wish (to bestow a thought or gesture towards someone or something)
- Synonym: зы́чыць (zýčycʹ)
Usage notes
[edit]- It's a much stronger version of хацець and for this reason these words are not perfect synonyms.
