Inherited from Bulgar وطر (wotur, thirty),[1] itself inherited from Proto-Turkic *otuŕ (thirty).[2][3]

Cognate with Khalaj hottuz, Turkish otuz, Uzbek oʻttiz, Bashkir утыҙ (utıź) and Yakut отут (otut).
