[edit]Inherited from Bulgar وج (weç, “three”),[1] itself inherited from Proto-Turkic *üč (“three”).[2][3]
Cognate with Khalaj ü̂ç, Turkish üç, Uzbek uch, Bashkir өс (ös) and Yakut үс (üs).
