[edit]Neologism of the 21st century, free translation of the French déjà vu which is frequently used in the original French. Created in the pattern of αμνησία (amnisía, “amnesia”) from προ- (“pre, before”) + μνη-(stem from μνήμη (mnḗmē, “memory”) + -σία (suffix for abstract nouns).
