[edit]From za- + mykat. The verb mykat comes from Proto-Slavic *mъknǫti (“to rush, move quickly”) (compare Polish mknąć), which is from Proto-Indo-European *(s)mewk-, *mewk- (“to make a quick movement, to slide”).[1]
