vernalis
Appearance
Latin
[edit]Etymology
[edit]From Old Latin *vesnālis, from Proto-Italic *wezor (“spring”) (oblique stem *wezn-) + -ālis. (The expected outcome of *vesnālis would be vēnālis, but the actual outcome shows assimilation to vēr.)

- (modern Italianate Ecclesiastical) IPA(key): /verˈna.lis/, [verˈnäːlis]
