[edit]Plural form of tvarůžek, which is a (diminutive) of tvaroh (“quark”), an intermediate product of their manufacture.

Usage notes
[edit]In Moravia the term tvarůžky prevails, while in Bohemia they are usually called syrečky.
When referring to the kind of cheese generally (Olomouc cheese), the term is usually used only in the plural form tvarůžky. The singular form tvarůžek is usually used in the sense of "a piece of Olomouc cheese".
