     Theo số liệu Trung tâm Quản lý giao thông công cộng TPHCM cung cấp cho Báo điện tử Chính phủ, hằng năm, kinh phí trợ giá cho xe buýt phổ thông đều trên dưới 1.000 tỷ đồng. Năm 2022, con số này là hơn 1.256 tỷ đồng.
     Tuy nhiên, số tiền trợ giá này tỉ lệ nghịch với khách đi xe, hay nói cách khác, dù được trợ giá nghìn tỷ, xe buýt vẫn không tiện dụng đối với người dân Thành phố.

     According to the data provided by the HCMC Center of Public Traffic Management to Government's Digital News, the yearly subsidy for popular buses is roughly 1,000 billion dongs. This rose to 1,256 billion in 2022.
     However, this rise was inverse to the rate of bus passengers, that is to say, despite being subsidized with over a thousand billion dongs, buses are not proving useful to the city's residents.
