    • 1973 October 7, Expressen, quoted in KB:s Svenska Dagstidningar, page 63:
      [] = kaffe med grädde, postcykel ~ gul taxi, reservdansk = skåning (!) []
      [] = coffee with cream, postal bike ~ yellow taxi, spare Dane = Scanian (!) []
    • 2018 September 10, Max Wiman, “Oacceptabel cirkus i veckan när reservdansk fick ny betydelse [Unacceptable circus this week when reserve Danish gained new meaning]”, in Sydsvenskan:
      Till viss munterhet och inte så sällan ett stycke stolthet för skåningar stämplar gärna en del uppsvenskar oss med epitetet reservdanskar. Men det fick en ny betydelse i veckan.
      To some amusement and not infrequently a piece of pride for Scanians, some Upswedes like to label us with the epithet reserve Danes. But it took on a new meaning this week.
