[edit]From nfr (“beautiful (one)”) + nfrw (“beautiful ones”, plural of nfr) + jtn (“Aten”) in a series of direct genitive constructions, thus literally ‘beautiful one of the beautiful ones of Aten’, i.e. ‘most beautiful one of Aten’. The written form demonstrates honorific transposition.
