[edit]Alternative forms
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Borrowed from English make sense. In contrast to other Scandinavian languages like Danish give mening, Norwegian Bokmål gi mening and Norwegian Nynorsk gjeva meining, Swedish lacks a perfect equivalent for "make sense." Compare also Icelandic meika sens, Dutch sense maken.
