kon- (“transitive pronominal prefix”) +‎ -noron- (“it is precious”) +‎ -hkw- (“instrumental suffix”) +‎ -ha’ (“habitual suffix”), literally “I make you precious”, with the root -noron- from Proto-North Iroquoian *-noɹõ- (“to find difficult, to be valuable”) from Proto-Iroquoian *-nuːɹõ- (“to be difficult, to fail to do”).
