[edit]grypsować impf
- (intransitive) to cant (to speak with the jargon of prisoners)
- (intransitive, prison slang) to belong to an informal group of prisoners whose trademark is the use of Grypsera (prison cant), and who, therefore, consider themselves to be a superior and privileged class in relation to the other prisoners
- It is better, of course, to belong to a prison gang youself, but I have decided not to do it as I consider internal divisions into warring groups of prisoners to be idiotic, and will not join any of them […]
- (intransitive, prison slang) to kite (to pass a (usually concealed) letter or oral message, especially illegally, into, within, or out of a prison)
