- (transitive) to discolor; to bleach (cause to lose color, mostly of the sun)
- O sol descoloriu o plástico da mesa. ― The sun bleached the plastic table.
- (transitive, specifically) to bleach (treat with bleach, such as to lighten hair)
- Te desafio a descolorir a sobrancelha. ― I dare you to bleach your eyebrows.
