Usage notes
[edit]- The apocopic form buon and (optionally) the contracted form buon' are used before masculine and feminine singular nouns, respectively, in the same manner as the indefinite article (i.e. buon giorno, buon amico but buono zio, buona sera but buon'amica, etc.).
