[edit]From Javanese ꦧꦾꦺꦴꦩꦤ꧀ꦠꦫ (byomantara, “sky”), from Old Javanese byomāntara (“sky”), from Sanskrit व्योम (vyoma, “sky”) + अन्तर (antara, “between”).
