Can we override the bolding of the word here? I have the correct fonts for Burmese, but I can still hardly read it because of the bolding. --Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 00:37, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

- Can we make it a default for Burmese script? (Maybe the Chinese scripts, too, but they occasionally look good bolded when the characters aren't too intricate.) --Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 03:20, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- It’s possible, but is it worth the effort? The more parser functions we add, the slower it becomes. — Ungoliant (Falai) 03:28, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- I find it hard to believe that anyone whose connection is fast enough to use Wiktionary in general will notice the difference. A lot of our templates are heavy with inexpensive parser functions. But you would know better than I would, I suppose. --Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 04:14, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
