I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Connel MacKenzie T C 17:18, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Definitions
[edit]Definitions need to be of the same "type" as the headword. So, as traducibile is an adjective, the definition cannot be "something" - that would be a noun. Also, it's ===See also=== not ==See also== - we only use level two headings for languages. SemperBlotto 19:26, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- Roger, roger - TopAce 19:28, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Reverting
[edit]Good work on reverting vandalism. We might have to make you a sysop in a few months. SemperBlotto 19:37, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, but I think I am too new and ignorant to be a sysop, not to mention I do not browse wiktionary so often. - TopAce 19:38, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Oops! It is pianista, male or female. SemperBlotto 09:24, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I just looked it up, it sounded weird to me, too, but I made the article anyway. Don't ask why I didn't look it up before making the article - TopAce 09:45, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
We have a few templates for Italian nouns and several for verb conjugations. They all start "it-" so you can find them from "Special pages" => "All pages". SemperBlotto 16:23, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- Good stuff, it looks a little bit hard to learn, but I'll manage. Thank you. - TopAce 18:15, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called TopAce. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name TopAce~enwiktionary that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
