IPA cleanup

[edit]

Thank you for creating the page doujin circle. I'm trying to learn IPA, while working on cleaning it up here. I noticed you used /ɜɹ/, which I don't see in the English pronunciation appendix, so I think it should be replaced with /ɛɹ/? Also, I'm working on a table of IPA symbol suggestions. —Darxus (talk) 21:57, 14 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

I copied that from circle. I don't know if /ɛɹ/ would be a good alternative because that's used in words like error and berry, which doesn't sound much like the "ir" in "circle" to me (but then again, it might just be because of my accent). You could look at sir for some alternatives maybe. --Straylemon (talk) 22:53, 14 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
