Hi SonicChristian, welcome to Wiktionary.

I note you've been adding a few entries that might be better suited to Wikipedia (such as Sparty). Entries about particular people do not generally belong in Wiktionary and so these entries probably be deleted. You might prefer to submit them to Wikipedia instead, if they are not already there. — Paul G 19:24, 26 February 2006 (UTC) (Wiktionary administrator)Reply

The standard welcome text

[edit]

Below is our standard welcome text template. Please refer to it often, to learn about the formatting conventions we have here, which are quite different from Wikipedia's.

Please do not submit entries formatted for Wikipedia, here. --Connel MacKenzie T C 00:42, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!
