Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Dvortygirl 23:58, 18 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

WikiSaurus

[edit]

Transwiki:Body parts slang is ready and waiting to be split up into a host of WikiSaurus entries. Uncle G 00:04, 2 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

As is Transwiki:List of sexual slang. Uncle G 00:45, 2 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, asked for that one :-) MGSpiller 20:33, 2 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

  • I've created the missing headword articles for the body parts slang. It's interesting that whilst WikiSaurus already had entries for ears, eyes, nose, mouth, and face, Wikipedia didn't consider those to be "body parts". ☺ I've also added interwiki links from various Wikipedia articles (some of which were busy growing mini thesauri of their own) to WikiSaurus. WikiSaurus:anus done, at this rate won't have time to do another one till the weekend.

monobook

[edit]

Could you please prevent the automatic inclusion of User:MGSpiller/monobook.js in Category:English irregular plurals by adding a <noinclude> and a </noinclude> to the code? Ncik 17:35, 25 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Minor edits please

[edit]

Could you perhaps mark these edits minor by default, so that they don't fill up the Recent changes? Thanks. — Vildricianus 21:41, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Header level of alternative spellings

[edit]

If you decide to move an 'Alternative spellings' header from level 4 to level 3, please make sure you move it on top of the first POS header. Ncik 14:11, 23 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
