Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- Wiktionary Tutorial
- Community Portal
- Entry layout explained
- Criteria for inclusion
- How to edit a page
- How to start a page
- Wiktionary Sandbox (a safe place for testing syntax)
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Connel MacKenzie T C 03:29, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- See especially Wiktionary:Criteria for inclusion - we do not accept very recently invented words. SemperBlotto 07:35, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
Did you know there is a Category:Filmology? I've added a number of entries that were missing because I didn't find them in the category. Given some of your recent additions, you could probably help fill this category up better. (Note: the list at the top of the page should only be there temporarily -- it was originally put in to make it easy to add new words, but once the words are added with their category tag in place, the hard links should be removed. Hope that makes sense.) --EncycloPetey 00:53, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
