Template:vi-reduplicant/documentation

This templates generates a definition line for Vietnamese reduplicants (such as đo in đo đỏ and ngợm in người ngợm). The first parameter is the base word (such as đỏ or người), the second parameter the full reduplicated word. The second parameter can be put to 1 or left out if the reduplicant comes first, to 2 if the reduplicant comes second, or given explicitly.

For example, in đo:

{{vi-reduplicant|đỏ}} or {{vi-reduplicant|đỏ|1}}

gives

reduplicant of đỏ, only used in đo đỏ

In ngợm:

{{vi-reduplicant|người|2}}

gives

reduplicant of người, only used in người ngợm
