Usage
[edit]Use this template in the etymology section of a Korean word with an uncertain Chinese etymon. When the specific language is known (Mandarin, Cantonese, Min Nan, etc.) please use {{der|ko|lang}}
or {{bor|ko|lang}}
along with the relevant language code.
Parameters

- The Sinitic word to be linked to.

- A gloss for

If multiple terms are supplied

- The first component of the Sinitic word.

- A gloss for

- Another component of the Sinitic word, and its gloss.

- Another component of the Sinitic word, and its gloss.

- For compounds which undergo phonologically unconditioned obstruent tensing. Use
{{ko-etym-sino|genitive=y}}

- If the components as a combined whole form an existing entry name, then that entry will be linked to.

Usage detailing multiple components:

Usage detailing multiple components, the sum of which does not form an existing entry name:

- Sino-Korean word from 平 (“flat”) + 壤 (“earth”) + 市 (“city”)
