1st Conjugation templates

  • Templates verbs of the 2nd conjugation are listed with {{el-conjug-2nd-A1}}.
  • There is a complete list of the new Greek verb inflection-table templates:
    • Some are individual templates for the auxiliary and other irregular verbs.
    • {{el-conjug-table}} and others with similar names which format tables for, and are called directly by, their respective templates listed above. It is not intended that these should be called directly.
    • There are also templates of the general form el-conjug-sub-xxxxx which perform subsidiary functions, these should not be called directly.

Description and use

  • This template should be used with 1st conjugation verbs where only imperfective forms are required.

Parameters are listed in the section below, with their use it should be possible to display most conjugations. In most cases an editor won't go far wrong if they look through the example verb categories listed in the Category:Greek 1st conjugation verbs by inflection type, after finding a likely category they can copy the parameters used there. The table produced may then be adjusted as necessary.

If the editor wants complete control over the contents of a particular cell, there is a list of 'Direct' parameters which provided direct access to a particular cell, these will enable the default output to be overwritten.
