Description and use
[edit]- This template should be used with active 1st conjugation verbs that are found only in imperfective forms. These verbs are largely irregular and found only the present and imperfect tenses.
- Other 1st conjugation templates include:

for passive voice verbs which only (or chiefly) have the present and imperfect tenses.

and others with similar names format tables for the respective types listed above.- There are also templates of the general form el-conjug-sub-xxxxx which perform subsidiary functions, these should not be called directly.
Parameters are listed in the section below, with their use it should be possible to display most conjugations. In most case editors won't go far wrong if look through the example verbs listed in the Category:Greek 1st conjugation verbs by inflection type and copy the parameters used there. The table produced can then be adjusted if necessary.
If the editor wants complete control over the contents of a particular cell or cells, there is a list of 'Advanced' parameters which provided direct access to particular cell, these will enable to usual output to be overwritten.
