Usage
[edit]This template may be used in Wiktionary entries to format quotations from the Kojiki.
Parameters
[edit]The template takes the following parameters, but it is optional to do so:
|1=
(optional) - the volume, or extra text after comma|2=
(optional if first parameter is present) - extra text in parentheses, such as the chapter title, date and entry of selection, and/or song/poem number|passage=
- the passage in Classical Chinese, or poem selection in Old Japanese|tr=
- transliteration, if poem|t=
- translation of passage

- When the heaven and earth began, the high plain of heaven was borne deities; its names were Ama-no-minakanushi (天 is natively read ama, also below), then Takamimusubi, and Kamumusubi. These deities were born alone, hiding their bodies.
