(Notifying Fay Freak, Brutal Russian, JohnC5, Lambiam): Deponent third-declension secor, secī, secutum (sic). First-declension secō with the same meaning does exist but no dictionaries that I can find mention a third-declension deponent. This was also created by User:SemperBlotto's bot. - It looks a bit like a partial confusion with sequor, sequī, secūtus. How did the bot work? Where did its input come from? This was copied to the French and maybe the Malagasy Wiktionaries. --Lambiam 18:46, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- sequī has an active variant sequere mentioned by Gellius and Priscian, but a deponent *secārī is nowhere to be seen and makes absolutely no sense ("sē secāre?") Brutal Russian (talk) 20:43, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Lambiam The bot's change message says "Batch loading of articles from a text file" so I presume he used a script of some sort to generate a text file of articles, probably based on a manual list of forms to create (which had tons and tons of mistakes in it). However, I'm mistaken in that the bot actually created "secor" the 1sg pres indc passive form of secō; he manually then added the verb secor. Benwing2 (talk) 21:02, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
