The sixth sense
[edit]@Adam78, @Panda10, in the verb pair kér and megkér the prefix changes the argument structure: in the former the object is the thing requested in the latter the person it is requested from. I can't tell if the meaning is affected in any other way. Another example is bíz and megbíz. Should this be added as a submeaning? - @Caoimhin ceallach, Adam78 I'm not sure if it is a "meaning" of the prefix meg- that it may change the argument structure. I wonder if a usage note would be more appropriate. The roles and behaviors of this prefix are extensive. I've found the following Hungarian linguistic papers written by Szili Katalin:
