@Mahagaja: Yes, both are technically correct (using the -aibh suffix), but I believe the suffixed form is considered particularly formal/archaic. Scottish Gaelic forms have been significantly simplified in colloquial speech, especially in regards to nouns and adjectives, but verbs as well. Unless you find a particular source explaining it better than I can, I would consider them both correct. -User:ThaesOfereode · talk

@Mahagaja, ThaesOfereode: I agree, you'll probably come across mealaibh ur naidheachd more often in formal writing and across meal ur naidheachd more often in speech / on social media.
