[edit]@Mxn Do you think you could add a durable quote to this for FWOTD? ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 16:32, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Corsicanwarrah, MuDavid Sorry to disturb you, but would someone like to add a durable quotation to the entry?
←₰-→Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 16:54, 1 December 2020 (UTC)- This entry might not survive a rfv challenge. Apart from being SOP (it's just "distance" + "social"), I can't find any quotes (durable or otherwise) predating Covid-19 and using the pandemic sense the entry seems to aim at, making it a
{{hot word}}
candidate at best. What I do find are a great many (apparently durable) quotes using the sociology sense (distance between different social groups, e.g. in terms of class, ethnicity, gender-identity, sexual-identity, etc.). MuDavid 栘𩿠 (talk) 07:34, 4 December 2020 (UTC)- @MuDavid Thank you for the reply. If it is SOP, you could request deletion at RFD. I can run you through the procedure or place it on the RFD page if you want, but I would need you to weigh in at the discussion to get it moving. The considerations about attestation and the term being a hot word are only relevant if the word isn't considered SOP.
