Malay. Rfv-sense suspiciously specific "The reddish hue in the sky at the east during sunrise." —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 21:56, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
- That is also how the Indonesian Wiktionary defines the term, but that must be the result of somewhat clumsily trying to define “dawn” by what characterizes it without using the term in the definition. In the Indonesian Wikipedia, the term is more appropriately defined as “the time of day when a reddish hue appears in the sky at the east before sunrise”. In other words, “dawn”. --Lambiam 08:19, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
- The Malay Literary Reference Centre gives "the reddish light on the eastern sky right before sunrise" as one of its definitions. ― Jeluang Terluang (talk) 09:27, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
- Is that not the same problem as what Lambiam described above? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:33, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
