A bunch of entries I created purely based on what was in the Translations section and Wikipedia

• lakuna - Hawaiian. From Translations section.
• boret - ACD has no such word. Got it from another article on Wiktionary (buRut, where it is mentioned that this is a descendent of boret.
• maina - Maori. From Translations section.
• kouka. Maori. Translations
• Dĩ Sắc Liệt - Web examples. But any of them reliably archived? We have this, but no preview. The only result that turned up when searched on Books.
• sagaly - on page for chacal as a descendent. Not on malagasyword.org
• warapī. Translations
• hepara. Plenty of examples on QQ but can't tell if talking about zebras.
• kỉ linh - on Vietnamese Wikipedia.

I wasn't aware of the rule about 3 (or 1 for LDLs) reliably archived sources when I made these. --Corsicanwarrah (talk) 14:08, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

  • Hepara. This and this seems to indicate that "hepara" can also mean "shepard".

@WikiWarrior9919 Glosbe gets info from Wiktionary though. Wouldn't count on them. Will add sense 'shepherd' and 'to start a fire', perhaps. --Corsicanwarrah (talk) 16:00, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

@WikiWarrior9919: Just FYI, attestation for non-LDL languages means actual usage in running text. For LDL languages, a reliable dictionary, academic source, etc. would usually suffice. — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 17:07, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

• @Eirikr lakuna has been verified via Wehewehe. maina, warapī, hepara verified via Te Aka. kouka - sense "cougar" failed via Te Aka (they have kōuka meaning "cabbage palm"). Still pending other entries. --Corsicanwarrah (talk) 09:33, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

• Amis "boret" appears to be a typo of "bohet". In page 101 of {{R:ckv:Kavalan Dictionary 2006}}, Amis "bohet" is listed as the source for Kavalan buRut (“flying squirrel”). Since the Amis language does not have a "b" consonant, the correct lemma is Amis fohet. KevinUp (talk) 17:55, 4 December 2019 (UTC)

• @Metaknowledge, Dĩ Sắc Liệt is apparently here, per QQ. But no sample can be seen. Nothing on the National Library of Vietnam's catalogue though. Nothing for kỉ linh on the catalogue. --Corsicanwarrah (talk) 17:41, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

  @Corsicanwarrah: I can't remember because it was over a year ago but apparently from the translations at jackal, which upon further investigation was added by a user blocked indefinitely for, among other reasons, dubious edits. I can't find anything on the internet that doesn't trace "sagaly" back to Wiktionary, so I've removed it from translations and chacal. Julia ☺ ☆ 18:49, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
