- Nothing refers to "cuttlefish" in Google Books. The only close hit is from 爾雅稗疏, which only has it in the word 鰞鰂魚 on this page. google:"鰂魚" -"鰂魚涌" -"鲗鱼涌" -"鰂鱼涌" filetype:pdf does not give any valid hits either; again hits for ancient texts seem to point to 鰞鰂魚 or 烏鰂魚 ([1]).
