Hot word from 2017, apparently a bit of video game slang, perhaps from a single game? I don't really read Chinese, but this seems to show up on Baidu, Weibo, and both Chinese and Japanese video game sites. Cnilep (talk) 06:33, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Do we allow terms that are amply referenced but whose scope is confined to a single video game? I could add hundreds of such words if we do, and Im not even much of a gamer .... but every little community has its own set of words that seem opaque to even other gamers, because that's just how it goes ... Zipf's law and all .... when fifty people each play something fifty times a lot of new words develop that have no meaning outside the community. For precedent, we rejected backwards long jump in 2016 even though Im sure we could turn up hundreds to thousands of citations for it. Soap 01:06, 13 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
