There is a missing sense of prescribe: "state authoritatively or as a rule that (an action or procedure) should be carried out", as in prescriptive. It is supposed to mean that some in Mainland China consider the reading xiàng as proper: [1]. I guess it may not be the right term. Wyang (talk) 08:27, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
