@RcAlex36: For the sense of "homemade", I think the existence of the term "土製炸彈" (improvised explosive device, lit. "homemade bomb") proves the sense exists in everyday Chinese, regards.廣九直通車 (talk) 13:52, 14 August 2021 (UTC)

OK, my fault for misunderstanding the term, sorry. The Revised Mandarin Chinese Dictionary also stated the term has the meaning of "improvised" ("...以原始簡單的方法製造。"), so perhaps this sense should be added to the entry? Many thanks.廣九直通車 (talk) 14:24, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
