w:ja:同音の漢字による書きかえ. It is okay to put that in the etymology part. But it is also true that the two forms had coexisted prior to the national language reform. Similar cases in the table include 衣裳→衣装, 饗応→供応, 蕃族→蛮族, etc. --H₂NCH₂COOH (Talk) 02:13, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
