Question

[edit]

Why do Min Nan people so often use this character in place of ? Is this a survival of an older usage, as are so often found in the southern Chinese dialects? 24.29.238.60 21:51, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Min Nan

The Entry #”, in 教育部臺灣台語常用詞辭典 [Dictionary of Frequently-Used Taiwanese Taigi] (overall work in Mandarin and Hokkien), Ministry of Education, R.O.C., 2024. gives 3 readings: á, ah, tsú, where the first two are marked as "borrowed" characters. How can this information be denoted here? Hongthay (talk) 23:08, 1 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
