Verification was requested for the sense "dizziness". I wonder if this might be an extension from or maybe a misunderstanding of うずまき管 (uzumakikan "cochlea; inner ear")? I just searched for うずまき めまい and found a lot of discussions of dizziness resulting from inner-ear problems.

It looks to me like both the sense and the rfv tag were added when User:Poketalker moved the lemma from the kanji to the kana version. Cnilep (talk) 05:40, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Eirikr: the KDJ reads 「③比喩的に、物事のめまぐるしい動き。また、わずらわしい現象。」 in translation: “(3) Figuratively, a whirlwind (sense 2) of something. That is, a troublesome phenomenon.” Looks dizzy to me before the confusion arose. Go ahead, I have fixed it. Thanks again! ~ POKéTalker23:56, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
