Aleksiva does not give the meaning of the Hamshen terms. When it is "id." he says "id.", but not in this case. I have ordered Hamshen dictionaries and will look it up in them when received. The Armenian term is glossed as "the edible root of a certain plant" and supposedly is from the dialect of Van, but this dictionary is edited horribly, and I don't trust its meaning or dialectal attribution.
