etymology of the tr term

@Vahagn Petrosyan The Turkish term is probably borrowed from the Persian phrase “سست و پست.” For examle see اندرین آهنگ منگر سست و پست Dohqo (talk) 07:49, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Dohqo: I don't know. The Persian and the Pashto سست پست (sust-pust) do not mean "silent" but "feeble, listless", from سست (sust). In any case, the origin of the Turkish term belongs in the Turkish page. Vahag (talk) 13:21, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
