Russian. Rfv-sense: chaise longue. Of course it is borrowed from French chaise longue but appears not to have that meaning, at least in modern usage (see also кушетка#Russian, w:ru:Кушетка and w:ru:Шезлонг). Voltaigne (talk) 19:38, 7 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Makes sense to me. I do not have proof for Russian, but there would be linguistic precedent for this semantic shift/narrowing: Turkish uses şezlong exclusively to refer to the beach loungers or sunbeds. –Konanen (talk) 09:09, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Voltaigne: On the other hand, w:ru:Кушетка#Другие разновидности кушеток does mention this sense. I've added three quotes I've found on Ruscorpora, and I remember there being at least one other semi-mention there; If you could check whether I haven't misinterpreted any of the quotes?
