(Notifying Atitarev, Cinemantique, Useigor, Wanjuscha, Wikitiki89, Stephen G. Brown, Per utramque cavernam, Guldrelokk, Fay Freak, Tetromino): Can you help with the translation here, esp. the impersonal construction? The definition in ruwikt and elsewhere is "о желании разговаривать" i.e. "about the desire to talk", which doesn't help me at all understand the actual meaning. Does it mean "to desire to talk, to want to talk" or simply "to talk", or something else? How is it used? The example sentence "Мно́го разгова́ривалось нам на ку́хне" is a simplification of a quote from ruwikt and the translation I gave is just a guess. Benwing2 (talk) 06:44, 14 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Benwing2: It’s about the desire/willingness/ability to talk. -ся can be used with many intransitive verbs to form this sense, cf спа́ться (spátʹsja) or сиде́ться (sidétʹsja). I can say “мне не разговаривается сегодня” - I’m not in the mood to talk today. “Что, не рисуется?” What, you can’t draw? (not able to draw for some reason)Anatoli T. @Atitarev, Benwing2: It’s also the imperfective of разговори́ться (razgovorítʹsja). Guldrelokk (talk) 23:00, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Guldrelokk, Benwing2: Added for completeness but with "only/chiefly" labels. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:39, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
