@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha, Per utramque cavernam, Guldrelokk This entry is all messed up, and I can't verify it at all except for the олово entry in Dal, which mentions оловок meaning "карандаш" but without indicating whether it's reducible. @Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha, Per utramque cavernam, Guldrelokk Maybe it should be deleted? Benwing2 (talk) 05:35, 10 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2: Some IP's have been pushing this term all along. It would be reducible if it existed. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 09:26, 10 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

оловок (olovok)

Mentioned once in Dal's dictionary at the bottom of the entry for олово. Can't find any cites. Mentioned here [1] where it is specified as a word in Belarusian. Benwing2 (talk) 13:40, 10 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

The following information has failed Wiktionary's verification process (permalink).

Failure to be verified means that insufficient eligible citations of this usage have been found, and the entry therefore does not meet Wiktionary inclusion criteria at the present time. We have archived here the disputed information, the verification discussion, and any documentation gathered so far, pending further evidence.
Do not re-add this information to the article without also submitting proof that it meets Wiktionary's criteria for inclusion.

Some IP's (possibly the same person) have been pushing this term as a synonym to Russian каранда́ш (karandáš, pencil) for a while. Only mentioned in Vladimir Dal's dictionary but it's hard to find any actual usage. If the term existed, it would be a cognate to Belarusian ало́вак (alóvak), Ukrainian оліве́ць (olivécʹ) and Polish ołówek. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 22:41, 10 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
