What is the correct transliteration for this? Here is geia, whereas at translations on hi there is ya. Maro 21:54, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

I prefer the transliteration with ya, which is how it is pronounced (i.e., /ʝa/). Modern Greek gamma is pronounced y before e or i sounds. The transliteration with geia is used for Ancient Greek, and some think we don’t need to distinguish Ancient from Modern. However, I don’t know what our current policy is.
