[edit]@Vahagn_Petrosyan: Thanks for catching it. I already had that scan myself, but I assumed that I verified that the reference is correct so I didn't recheck it again.
There are a lot of issues like that, especially in Fähnrich-Sarǯvelaʒe (for example, almost all of Janashvili 1906 references are of the wrong book and should instead refer to Janashvili 1902), but I didn't keep track of it. კვარია (talk) 18:03, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Klimov 1998 is especially sloppy with references. Probably due to the posthumuous editors, not himself. Vahag (talk) 18:07, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Klimov:1964 credits Svan to Wardrop:1911, I'm guessing that editors of Klimov:1998 copypasted the incorrect reference from Fähnrich-Sarǯvelaʒe. კვარია (talk) 18:10, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Whoever was trying to replace Wardrop 1911 with Nizharadze 1910 had his heart in the right place. Wardrop had simply copied Nizharadze.
- The first reference to Gren 1890: 131 that I found is in Fähnrich-Sarǯvelaʒe 1990 [1st ed.], so we will indeed blame this couple for the mistake. Researching ghost words and mistakes is even more fascinating than doing real etymology :D Vahag (talk) 18:49, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
