[edit]This root is traditionally considered a lengthened *ō-grade of *plew-.[2] The LIV prefers *pleh₃- with either a *-yeti or *-weti present.[1] Derksen suggests either a *-weti present or a conflation of *plew- and *pleh₃-.[3]
