- I think these should be expanded to include things like a brief on loanwords between each languges, or even its influence on earlier stages. Many of the relation appendices have gone deeper than cognates: this include things like borrowings, false friends and influence on each language onto one another. Look at the examples of Appendix:Indonesian–Standard Malay relations and Appendix:Spanish–Tagalog relations. Also another thing worth adding is the case of pseudo-gallicisms in English and pseudo-anglicisms in French, and calques. TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 06:14, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
